New Online Exhibit Honors Nevada's Basque Sheepherders
Sheepherders of Northern Nevada, a new online multimedia exhibit hosted by the University Libraries, honors the "lonely and courageous work of Basque sheepherders," a group that have contributed significantly to the culture and economy of the region for over a hundred years. In addition to texts and photographs, the exhibit also includes music and video clips, maps, interviews, and even some fun educational activities. Come gain a deepened appreciation for this unique aspect of Northern Nevada culture!
