Need a Book? Let the Library Do the Legwork.
Ah, finals time -- when the students see the light at the end of the tunnel, and the professors would too, if only their view weren't blocked by the towering piles of essays and exams that have to be graded before the middle of the month. We in the Libraries would like to do something to help ease your burden (short of grading those exams for you, that is), so maybe now would be a good time to remind you about Campus Express, our on-campus delivery service for library books. Just about any book in the Getchell or DeLaMare libraries can be requested online and will be cheerfully delivered to your campus mailstop. You can even request a book that the Libraries don't own -- we'll either buy one fast (if it's a recent title we just haven't acquired yet) or borrow a copy from another library.
Give Campus Express a try! It's just one more way the Libraries are working to make academic life a little bit easier for you.

Today's Wall Street Journal -- On Your Computer!
If you are one of the many who turn to the Wall Street Journal every day for business and political news, then the University Libraries have found yet another way to make life easier for you. The full text of the Wall Street Journal is now available online to all University faculty and students -- in an archive that begins with this morning's issue and extends all the way back to 1984.
A link to the current table of contents can be found at this page, and it's updated every day. So now you can save that dollar you were spending at the newsstand every morning and have a muffin with your latte. (But please, don't eat it over your keyboard.)
